Face to Face with subversive crime

In a series of compelling portraits we follow the stories of people who have experienced subversive crime at Schiphol. They talk about what this meant to them and wonder if they could have acted differently.

Redouan

In the first episode, we meet Redouan, an ex-criminal who made a name for himself in the Dutch drug circuit in the late nineties. He knows better than anyone how criminals take innocent people for a ride.

Gilbert

Gilbert tells his story in epidose two. He realized too late that his childhood friend Vera's new friend had bad intentions. The boy completely captured Vera and forced her to smuggle drugs.

Mehmet

In the third episode, we listen to Mehmet, who worked as an aircraft cleaner at Schiphol with his childhood friend Farouk. Farouk appeared to have different intentions from the start. Why did his friend choose the wrong path and not him? And how did that end?
